Private Healthcare is inefficient and unreliable.
Medi 1, a provider of non-emergency patient transport services in Sussex, has gone into receivership, after getting into financial difficulties.
And here’s yet another private parasite doomed to fail. The Tory privatisation farce has gone too far. It has to be stopped.
Private healthcare simply has not worked but continues to draw on resources rightly belonging to us. Only a proper publicly owned and managed NHS can provide a realistic and reliable service.
Our overstretched NHS, already straining to cope with the stresses and strain of the British winter must now prepare itself for the onslaught of COVID19.
Still, in spite of decades of Tory cuts, underfunding and under-resourcing our heroic NHS will prevail. Why? Because of its secret weapon. The dedication, hard work and sheer professionalism of its overworked, and underpaid staff are second to none. No private healthcare enterprise comes close. Support our NHS and keep it public
Bestcare goes bust.
When will they realise that their privatisation experiment has not worked. Private healthcare companies are destroying our greatest national asset. Let’s get it all back into public ownership.ASAP
The private provider of sonography services, Bestcare Diagnostics, has gone into voluntary liquidation, leaving several members of staff unpaid, according to the Manchester Evening News. An ongoing investigation into 1800 scans on NHS patients performed by the company is already taking place.
Your NHS needs YOU
The private sector is destroying health care in this country. Our NHS is mortally wounded yet, for decades, successive Tory governments and their allies have allowed billionaire, parasitic, multinational conglomerates to take pound after pound (kilo after kilo?) of flesh. The private sector has failed to provide a level of care that comes anywhere close to that of our overworked, understaffed, underfunded NHS.
The private sector is expensive, perilously inefficient and unfit for purpose.
The private sector coerces staff into working dangerously long hours for abysmal rates of pay and puts patient safety at risk. Too often we hear of vulnerable residents being neglected in private care homes. Private health care puts profit before patient care and benefits nobody but directors and shareholders.
We must strive at all costs to return all of our healthcare to the safe hands of our wonderful NHS; keep it safe, keep it adequately financed; above all, KEEP IT PUBLIC.

Our A&Es are in crisis.
More people than ever are waiting over four hours to be seen in Accident and Emergency. But instead of fixing the problem, the government wants to scrap this waiting time target altogether. If they do, we’ll find it much harder to hold the government to account on the crisis facing our hospitals.
The Health Minister, Matt Hancock, is responsible for this idea. And top doctors are speaking out against the plan already. But he’ll be most concerned about how the public reacts.
Imagine if hundreds of thousands of us sign a petition to Matt Hancock telling him not to scrap this A&E target. He’ll know he can’t just hide the crisis facing our A&Es by making the numbers go away.
If you think the government shouldn’t hide the crisis in our hospitals, please sign the petition today.
